My name is Prem Gandhi, and I’m a robotics researcher at North Carolina State University currently advised under Dr. Frederick Livingston.

My current research focus is on robotic manipulation, specifically for manufacturing applications. I hope to develop novel AI algorithms for manipulation using techniques from automated planning, machine learning, and good-ole’ fashioned engineering (GOFE). I am excited about the field of robotics, especially given the diversity of problems available for research.

Outside of robotics, I love reading, writing, cooking, praying, and hanging out with friends. I love talking about anything, especially philosophy, theology, computer science with a dash of psychology mixed in.
